Part 1- Suzanne’s story
The story starts of with her at 14 years old as Suzy. She is betrothed to a rich, young man. She is unhappy about the arranged marriage. Everything changes once the volcano erupts. With Poliat’s appearance as the last of a long dead race, the Kqarv become hostile once in his service. Her fiancée dies in the early stages of war while she finds herself in a huge adventure which leads to her being trained to assassinate Poliat and coming close enough to kill him. She is stopped by Poliat’s volcano erupting and bringing many more of Poliat’s race.
Part 2- Daniel’s beginning
Daniel is the son of the elder of Luleke. His town is the only one which can create adamantine, the only metal to be stronger than mithril. They can only make small amounts though, and an adamantine dagger is a rare object gifted to great generals and leaders, while a sword is a thing of legend. Daniel finds himself caught up with in one of the great armies of man as they attempt to stem the growing power of Poliat. Daniel and the army attempt to reach the volcano but are led into a trap by the Kqarv and brutally murdered, leaving only a few survivors who find their way into Suzanne’s encampment.

Part 4- Mantleships


To fully encompass this world and this story, this may end up as a quartet. Depending on how things turn out, I may write many stories with the backdrop of this world (If only Garth Nix would do that for once, across the wall is not sufficient) I would also rewrite Mantleships without the limitations of a GCSE coursework piece.
